My client are a not-for-profit organisation a world charity under UK law. They're based in Central London in a stunning building.


My client are now seeking to add a full-time member of staff in its headquarters in London, UK, to support the existing team. Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals with strong organising and communication skills who are looking for a challenging role in an international business environment and can work independently.


The charity is looking to recruit an Office manager who will be responsible for providing administrative/secretarial support to the executive team of three. The selected candidate will report to the Chief Operating Officer. We offer a friendly working environment in a small highly engaged team. It's a full-time position but flexible working is possible within base hours per week.


Key responsibilities:



  • Provide administrative and secretarial support

  • Provide project management support

  • Assist with speaker management and logistics for Events

  • Work on marketing plans including content and proofing of marketing materials

  • Help with website content and updates

  • Assist with proofing of publications

  • Provide support to members with general enquiries

  • Maintain members directory

  • Maintain and improve databases and information systems

  • Minute internal meetings

  • Manage the office on a daily basis




    • Be responsible for office services and liaise directly with contractors/suppliers

    • Keep office supplies stocked




Key skills/experience:



  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK for this role

  • Proven experience providing administrative support at a senior level.

  • Proven experience managing an office

  • Advanced level Microsoft Office skills

  • Highly developed organisational and communication skills

  • A friendly team player with a 'can do' attitude and ability to communicate with staff and


multi-cultural clients at all levels




  • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.

  • Excellent English both verbal and written

  • Ability to work well under pressure, keep to deadlines and multi-task

  • Maturity and discretion in dealing with confidential information
