Role: Marketing Assistant (Temporary to Permanent)


Location: Bingley


Salary: £9.20 - £10.20 per hour depending on experience


Hours: Full Time (37.5 Hours)


Start date: ASAP - Immediate Start

Based in Bingley, in a lovely and green business park, our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated addition to their team for 6-9 months. You will need to able to jump into the role and support their busy team with meeting deadlines, liaising with global colleagues and ensuring each aspect of the product leaves with the highest level of accuracy. With over 50 years of experience within their field, this company is now looking for support as they continue to grow over the rest of 2019 and in 2020.

Duties:




  • Assisting senior editors and publishers in meetings to work towards targets

  • Inputting product information onto the system and updating spreadsheets

  • Sending out contracts and agreements as required and ensuring these are followed up and logged

  • Liaising with external parties regarding updates on the paperwork etc…

  • Updating marketing and editorial information accurately on the system

  • Research work required and briefs to be prepared following research

  • Liaising with design teams regarding products to be approved

  • Processing orders quickly and accurately with the help of the customer service and sales team

  • Dealing with both internal and external queries

  • Assist with ad hoc research projects as required




Skills:




  • Interest in marketing, publishing and creative industry

  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects whilst meeting deadlines under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to build strong relationships internally and externally

  • Strong customer service and organisation skills

  • Team player with ability to work on own initiative

  • Willingness to travel frequently

  • Strong IT knowledge
