Mailroom Assistant/Porter



WOW Factor: A widely established, high profile international mailroom company is currently looking for Mailroom Assistant / Porter who is articulate, professional and enthusiastic. Due to the size of the company, there are many vacancies across different sites in London.


The client is a global full-service provider, of physical and digital Document Management and provides a comprehensive suite of Document Processing and Business Process Services, which support the Digital Transformation of their clients' business processes to help them thrive in today's digital economy.


Location- Victoria & numerous sites across London


Pay- £8.50/ £9.50


Must be available for immediate start


**This role is for MINIMUM of 3 months **



The role of a Porter/ Mail Room Messenger is to ensure the smooth running of all Postal, Dispatch and Reprographics areas, providing excellent customer service at all times. As a Porter, you are also responsible for moving the office furniture and arranging meeting rooms


Key Responsibilities



  • Arranging meeting rooms and transporting furniture

  • Dealing with queries via face to face, telephone and email

  • Mailroom duties including dealing with couriers

  • Distributing and collecting mail around building

  • Carrying boxes, copier paper and other items that may be required

  • Storing and retrieving information

  • Placing orders and monitoring delivery dates

  • Tracking using iTrack system (training will be given)

  • Any other reasonable tasks required by Manager


Skills Needed



  • Strong customer service skills

  • Experience within a professional environment

  • Good IT knowledge

  • Professional and well presented

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good attention to detail

  • Strong organisational skills

  • iTrack experience an advantage but not essential

  • Experience with reprographics


The client will carry out CCJ/DBS checks.
