This is an amazing opportunity to join a publishing firm in the city of London as a Team Assistant with HR Duties. The successful candidates will have an interest in working in HR long term, and excited to learn more and progress! Experience as an l or a strong administrator!

Must be immediately available.

HR duties:

  • Coordinating recruitment; advertising roles, scheduling interviews, liaising with managers, suppliers and candidates.

  • Draft letters, contracts and internal correspondence.

  • Coordinate the new joiner and leaver process.

  • Work closely with payroll to ensure all changes are processed on time for the monthly payroll run.

  • Manage the HR mailbox.

  • Act as the first point of call for general queries.

Training duties:

  • Booking training (rooms, creating and updating events on the learning management system).

  • Booking courses, programmes, events with vendors (tuition, external training etc.)

  • Meet and greet external trainers.

  • Manage the Training mailbox.

Department/ general duties:

  • Coordinate, assign and monitor the new starter induction and training schedule.

  • Process invoices and raise Purchase Orders.

  • Update department records and employee files.

  • Filing when needed.

Ideal candidate:

  • Must be able to prioritise daily workload - essential

  • Attention to detail - essential

  • Proactive, methodical,

  • Solid admin experience - essential

  • Previous experience working in a HR role - desirable
