We are looking for a friendly and bubbly person to join a busy and informal office in Chancery Lane. The successful person would be confident, eager and proactive and enjoy communicating with others!

HOURS: 9:00am to 5:00pm (Staying later Mondays/Tuesday but you get the time back)

THE ROLE:



  • Photocopy, scan and print various documents, on behalf of other

  • Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information

  • Liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts

  • Order and maintain stationery and equipment

  • Conduct duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails

  • Providing front of house support, meeting and greeting members and other visitors to the office including, when appropriate, delegates to events hosted bu the company.

  • Responding to telephone enquiries, providing basic information and materials where relevant, transferring callers to the appropriate person in the organisation and/or taking messages from callers and passing them on promptly.

  • Providing administrative support for elected officers including booking travel and accommodation; managing diaries; dealing with expense claims and generally supporting the officers in their work.

  • Supporting the membership team as and when required including checking and updating the information held on the membership database; the dispatch of membership goods and services; providing support for events, webinars and seminars.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with members, colleagues and others, adopting the principle of treating everyone fairly and equally, irrespective of their age, disability, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, race, religion, belief or sexuality.


ABOUT YOU:



  • Good personal organisations skills

  • Accurate data entry

  • Ability to prioritise and multi task

  • Excellent command of English and good Microsoft Office Work skills
