  • Job title: Financial Administrator

  • Position: Full-time, fixed-term

  • Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum + bonus (up to 10%)

To help ensure the efficient administration of the Company Secretariat by processing event and office related financial transactions while supporting accounting and banking functions.


  • Process delegate registrations and email confirmations while issuing receipts, invoices and credit notes. Follow up on outstanding delegate payments and ensure income is received prior to the event

  • Ensure that office related accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that accounts receivable are collected promptly; batch income and expenditure and verify with bank statements in preparation for monthly management accounting prepared by an external provider

  • Create online payments (authorised by manager) and submit, record and file transactions; while monitoring bank accounts

  • Submit regular reports for international tax compliance (summarising sales and purchases); and process/pay invoices from HMRC for corporation tax filing

  • Log, categorise and record all invoices; file financial policies and archive materials as appropriate

  • Provide general office support including: photocopying; answering the telephone, couriering documents, IT / printer queries; and maintaining stationery stocks and supplies

  • Work with Other Media (external website maintenance team) to open online registration forms for company events and be the main point of contact for external IT support providers in order to maintain smooth online and IT processes

  • Maintain relationship with service/insurance providers and keep files of contracts

  • Perform other duties from time to time in line with the needs of the business

Education and Experience

  • Must be financially literate with experience in general bookkeeping practices

  • Fluent English with excellent written and oral language skills

  • Proficient in Excel as well as Microsoft packages.
