Executive Assistant to CFO - 12 Month FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high growth and dynamic fintech organisation based in central London close to Barbican. A leader in their market and with an international presence, this is an exciting time to join this business.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced EA to join them and to support their CFO with a multitude of varied responsibilities in this 1-1 role. Sitting amongst their 200 colleagues based in an open plan office in this ultra-friendly and supportive environment, your responsibilities will compromise of the following:

  • Diary management of an extremely busy calendar

  • Acting as a confidential main point of contact and gatekeeper for the CFO

  • Daily correspondence and email management

  • Preparing the CFO for meetings with papers, location information and travel arrangements

  • Prioritising items for action and flagging items for follow up

  • Liaising with external organisations/individuals and answering/screening phone calls on behalf of the Executives

  • Arrangement of complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas. Compilation of documents for travel-related meetings and agenda preparation, including time zones

  • Calendar planning of major conferences and the arrangement of multiple individual meetings and dinners

  • Management of multiple external board commitments, ensuring dates are in the calendar and relevant documents reach the CFO ahead of time

  • Proof reading and editing of collateral, (PowerPoints) and the arrangement of printing

  • Processing business expenses using Concur

  • Preparation and organisation of board meetings and other key business events. Arrangement of briefing packs prior to events/conferences/meetings

  • Ad hoc support for events

  • Work alongside close-knit team of EAs to provide ad-hoc support where required

This role requires a well experienced EA who has previously supported a c-suite level. You will have previously dealt with extensive diary and travel organisation, will be comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and confident in your ability to judge situations and work autonomously.

Your ability to remain calm under pressure will be paramount to your success in this role, as will your ability to take initiative and be a dedicated and reliable source of support to the CFO.

In return you will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package which compromises of a basic salary up to £50,000 depending upon experience. You will also be entitled to 28 days annual leave, a competitive contribution pension plan and an enhanced benefit package that allows you to tailor your benefits to suit your individual preferences. This opportunity also has a strong opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
