Job Title: Estimating Assistant
Location: Wimbledon
Salary: £24-£28k pa

Our client is expanding and looking for an Estimating Assistant to join their busy team in Wimbledon. As the perfect candidate, you will be motivated, energetic and willing to learn and grow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to build their career and evolve with a company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To prepare tender support documents
* Set up new project files and general filing
* Chasing estimates and ensuring that they are fully itemised
* Updating electronic enquiries database together with manual book
* Update tender return planner
* Update enquires spread sheet/graphs
* Maintain tender return analysis and year-to-year enquiries analysis
* Coordinating sub-contractor attendance
* Audio and copy typing letters, detailed reports and quotations
* Helping to produce tender support documents
* To compile and prepare sub-contract enquiries and conduct sub-contractor cost comparisons
* Updating Sub Contractor and Suppliers rates
* Sending out all tender enquiries
* Preparation of Programme of works in Microsoft Project
* Sub-Contractor assessment and approvals
* Answering telephones
* General administration duties


Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven maintenance of strong client relationships
* Able to work on their own initiative
* Solution orientated
* Commercial awareness
* Worked in a busy office environment, ideally with tight deadlines
* Desirable to have a proven track record of profitable performance
* A passion for business development
* Highly motivated
* Excellent inter-personal skills
* Excellent attention to detail
