This is a FULL TIME role for a minimum of 12 months on a fixed term contract. Working days are Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. The salary for this role is £21k and this is a reflection on the skill and experience the client is looking for.


Duties of the role -


- Raise PO orders for the group


- Process and receipt PO numbers/ authorising invoices


- Full admin support as and when required to numerous business areas


- Monitor fuel records and report to Finance


- Invoice scanning


- Obtain quotations and process bulk orders


- Assisting in adhoc payroll duties


- Maintain working spreadsheets when required


- Maintain records to provide accurate information for month end accruals to Management Accountant


Person specification


Essential



  • 5 GCSES (C or above)

  • Experience within an admin role preferably within a Finance department

  • MS Office (Word and Excel)

  • High numeracy and literacy skills

  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills across all levels


Desirable



  • Experience within Accounts Payable

  • Experience of Sage 1000 (or other Sage packages)

  • Accounts Payable IT Systems

  • Manipulate and handle data

  • Knowledge of VAT/Payroll and other HMRC functions


This role is to start ASAP with interviews taking place W/C 22nd April. A notice period will be considered for the right candidate.
