Hours: 35 hours pw 9:00am -5:00pm



My client are a growing charity based in the Albert Embankment area. They are looking to hire a Admin Assistant on a fixed term contract.



The successful candidate will be supporting the Volunteer Support Manager and team and will require you to create a skeleton database to input historic volunteer information as well as providing general administration support to the team.



It is beneficial the successful applicant will have knowledge of GDPR.



Duties of the role:



  • Review historic paper volunteer personnel records to identify concerns and key information

  • Complete data entry of key information

  • Scan and upload records to shared drive

  • Arrange for the secure disposal of processed volunteer personnel records

  • Create a new Skeleton database

  • Label and organise unit files

  • Package unit files for transport to off-site storage facility

  • Help the HR team to move information onto their new HR system

  • Adhoc admin duties



Requirements for the role:



  • Be immediately available to start a new role

  • Happy with a 3 -6-month ftc

  • Knowledge of GDPR

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Experience within data entry

  • Attention to detail
