JOB TITLE: Office Administrator with Purchase Ledger duties

SALARY: £20,000 - £22,000 dependent on experience

LOCATION: BD5 with free parking on site

A well-established, highly successful and privately owned commercial printing company is looking for an Office Administrator to join their Accounts team to assist with general administration and purchase ledger duties.


Great opportunity for you as an Office Administrator wanting to add another string to your bow and learn Accounts duties. The company will ensure the successful candidate develops in their career and they are looking for someone with enthusiasm and keen to learn new things! The opportunity is just as great for you if you have experience with SAGE and Accounts duties. You will be joining a small accounts team - reporting into a friendly Finance Manager and working alongside a Purchase Ledger.

Your duties will include:

Reception and Admin

  • Answering calls and transferring calls

  • Signing visitors in and out

  • Input timesheets for internal various departments

  • Incoming and outgoing post

Purchase Ledger

  • Matching Up of Delivery Notes & PO's

  • Checking orders are authorised by the appropriate signatory

  • Input of Purchase Invoices on internal system and SAGE

  • Setting up new Accounts

  • Assist where necessary in closing month end

Sales Ledger

  • Holiday cover for Sales Invoicing (can be trained on this)

  • Credit control duties

  • Have basic knowledge of SAGE and Microsoft Excel - Please still apply if you have excellent administration skills and you are happy to be taught SAGE
