Are you an experienced and compassionate Administrator with strong Excel skills who can hit the ground running and work independently and as part of a close-knit team? This is a lovely long-term opportunity for an organised and "can do" individual.



Job Title: Temp to Perm Office Administrator


Location: Central Exeter


Duration: 3 months + - Permanent


Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm 40 hours per week (PT 24+ hours considered)


Salary: £12 - £12.50 per hour



The Role:


Our client is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their small, friendly team. You will be a crucial part in supporting the upkeep of effective recording and management systems and a confidential administrative service. You will be responsible for promoting a sense of belonging by creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels connected and valued.


Key Duties:



  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, including managing phone calls, emails, mail and other correspondence.

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and travel arrangements.

  • Maintain and organise company files and records.

  • Perform accurate data entry and generate reports as required, assisting in preparing presentations and taking meeting notes.

  • Greet visitors and provide assistance, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating company events.

  • Process invoices, manage petty cash and assist with budget tracking and expense reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, assisting in the implementation and communication of new policies.

  • Assist with on-boarding and recruitment processes.

  • Manage diary for the office, including meetings, training, and general use.

  • Monitor and order office supplies and equipment as needed whilst maintaining inventory.

  • Perform basic cleaning tasks to maintain office cleanliness.


About You:



  • Strong administrative experience

  • Strong IT skills especially Excel.

  • Google Documents experience is desirable

  • Excellent people skills, with an emphatic and supportive manner

  • Ability to multi-task with effective time management skills

  • Effectively work independently and as part of a team.

  • Motivated and able to work with integrity.
