JOB TITLE: Experienced Mortgage Advisor

LOCATION: Taunton, Somerset

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 5.15pm

This award-winning mortgage advisory and financial services firm is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join their team.

Each Advisor within the business strives to treat every client as their 'only client' to promote long standing relationships built on professionalism and integrity. They hope to seek an experienced Mortgage Advisor that strives for that same excellence.

When you first walk into their modern and luxurious offices, you will see a bright and welcoming reception area with floor to ceiling meeting pods for a more open, client focused feel. Upstairs you will find the offices, all open plan with lots of natural light and space to collaborate with other departments. On your lunch break or before or after work you can utilise their stunning fully equipped gym with showers and changing room facilities or recharge in their spacious and relaxing staff room with wide screen TV, comfy sofas and fruit baskets.

You will be responsible for…

• Building strong client relationships, being readily available for them.


• Providing a consultative understanding of the clients individual needs to provide the best possible advice.


• Thorough fact finding to ensure you provide advice that complies with both the firms and its regulators requirements.


• Presenting recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.


• Conducting regular research to maintain excellent up to date knowledge of available mortgage products, underwriting and affordability requirements as well as all other products and services provided by the firm.

Is this you?

• You will have prior mortgage advice experience with a high level of personal motivation and professional communication style.


• You will have an R01 & CF6 qualification or equivalent.


• You will have a willingness to undertake exams to further your knowledge within the Financial Services industry.


• You will be proactive, driven and tenacious in your work style.


• You will be highly motivated and have a passion for providing service excellence.
