Role: Mortgage Administrator

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday 09:00- 17:30

Location: Weybridge and London Offices alongside Hybrid Working

We are working for a successful independent wealth management specialist located in Weybridge. They are looking for someone who has previous experience working for a financial service business provider in a technical administration role. This is a maternity cover contracts with the likelihood that it will turn into a permanent position. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a business that has great culture!


  • Submitting and processing of mortgage, protection and equity release business

  • Liaise with product providers to ensure all applications are received and completed, and attend to any outstanding requirements

  • Preparation and sending of documentation via DocuSign

  • Produce suitability letters for the Mortgage Advisor

  • Enter new cases on Intelligent Office and keeping mortgage data up to date

  • Ensure acceptance terms and mortgage offers are received as promptly as possible, and check these against applications/illustrations

  • Link all incoming and outgoing documentation and correspondence onto client files in a timely manner, including all written and electronic communication, supporting evidence, conversations and emails with clients, and conversations with providers

  • Ensure electronic client files are organised, updated, easily accessible and compliant

  • Ensure the task module of Intelligent Office is reviewed and kept up-to-date in terms of tracking and monitoring the processing stages of each application

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out within FCA regulatory requirements

  • Notify advisers of any suspicion of a complaint, following appropriate procedures within the complaints handling process

  • Record and file all relevant correspondence appropriately and correctly

About you:

  • Have experience in financial services industry, in a mortgage advisor role and under FCA rules and compliance

  • Have experience of using iO, or a similar system

  • Have excellent IT skills, being highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages

  • Excellent written communication skills and a high-level of attention to detail

  • Have good general knowledge of life and mortgage related products and legislation
