ROLE: Medical Administrator - Immediate start!


LOCATION: Maidenhead, with free on site parking


HOURLY RATE: £11- 13ph + holiday accrual + Office Angels benefits


HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, 37.5 hours, 30 minute lunch


DURATION: On-going, with the potential to go permanent


We are currently working with a hospital located in Maidenhead on some new exciting roles! They are looking for customer-focused, confident, and organised individuals to join their team! You will be supporting the Consultants with secretarial duties, organising their workload, and liaising with all the relevant departments so that their objectives are achieved.


Duties will include:



  • Managing all the Consultant's correspondence, ensure you have actioned what you can, and flag the rest to the consultant

  • Typing up the audio transcription of complex clinical letters, reports, case summaries

  • Attending meetings and minute taking

  • Being the first point of contact, managing the messages and enquiries. Liaising with other internal teams across different departments, keeping everyone updated

  • Ensuring patient information is updated on the registration system, accurately and timely

  • Preparing patient information to be available for the Consultants

  • Preparing data from the patient system, as requested by the Consultants

  • Managing and coordinating the Consultant's diary

  • Maintaining an efficient clinical filing system enabling easy retrieval of medical records

  • Coordinating patients records and results from appropriate Hospitals


Required skills:



  • Ideally, you will have worked in a medical practice, clinic, or hospital before. This is not essential, but you will need to have worked in a busy Admin/Coordinator role, supporting a manager

  • Excellent communication skills and able to multi-task

  • You are a confident user of MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
