JOB TITLE: Marketing Executive


LOCATION: Paignton & Exeter - travel between offices is required, though base can be flexible


HOURS: 40 hours per week, 8.30am-5pm Monday - Friday


SALARY: Up to £25,000 per annum dependent on experience


THE COMPANY & ROLE: This local specialist recruitment agency has experienced impressive growth in recent years. They offer a fun and supportive work environment with excellent staff retention. The Marketing Executive is a new and integral role for the business - you will help deliver on the business' marketing plan to increase client base, drive applications, and attract and maintain candidates. This is a really varied role in which you will look after all the comms, social media and digital marketing amongst other things. You will also work closely with the Recruitment team to achieve the best outcomes with the applications and leads generated.


Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Support strategic planning within the business

  • Ensure jobs boards are maintained with current and effective job adverts



  • Manage spend on jobs boards in line with directives and marketing budget

  • Compile accurate reports to facilitate decision making

  • Take ownership of the CRM system to ensure the data entered is reliable and up to date

  • Collaborate with the outsourced designer to produce marketing collateral in line with the brand guidelines

  • Deliver tactical and well planned communications in line with brand guidelines to help ensure candidate commitment and retention

  • Play a key role in the acquisition of new recruits through effective recruitment campaigns

  • Deliver the social media strategy including the creation of regular posts and production of adverts in line with the agreed budget

  • Ensure the websites are updated with regular new content


Your skills and attributes:



  • Previous experience in a marketing role or environment

  • Digital marketing experience and experience working with a CRM system would be desirable



  • Content writing experience would be particularly advantageous



  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, in addition to strong database management skills

  • Friendly with the ability to build and maintain great professional relationships and partnerships with others

  • Initiative and creativity

  • Someone who is proactive with the ability to generate and raise new ideas

  • Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time

  • A goal-oriented mindset and enjoys working in a busy environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)



  • Driving license and access to a vehicle

To be successful in this role, you must be able to travel between offices located across Devon and Somerset. You must also be able to work well independently as well as part of a team, paying strong attention to detail and have a positive, proactive attitude towards your work.
