Purpose of Job

You need to be detail oriented and rigorous in updating the activities and data to ensure that campaigns are well executed, on time, and to ensure they are always current, with the ability to report accurate metrics and expenses data to generate meaningful reports.This is a multi-disciplinary hands-on support role with a strong focus on the delivery of marketing campaigns. Working across all aspects of marketing activity and event delivery as well as providing administrative support.

This is a pro-active challenging role in a busy team, that requires a strong attention to detail, strong organisation skills and the ability to multi-task with a 'can do' approach. Actively seeks to assist on projects, with a diverse set of marketing skills.

You will be required to travel to other offices or venue locations to support campaigns and event delivery on a regular basis. Travel will be in East Anglia.


Events & Sponsorship

  • Fully supports the team on the coordination and project management of events and sponsorships. Attends meetings to understand key objectives, making clear notes for action plans

  • Some knowledge of virtual events and webinar platforms desired

  • Duties will include assisting in the production of project timelines, venue and catering booking, assembling invitation lists, preparing PowerPoint, or other presentations, co-ordinating badges, table plans and hand-outs and providing front of house support at live events

  • In conjunction with other members of the marketing team, providing 'on the ground' support for events and seminars, from time to time across all four offices.


  • Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns including, social media planning, website updates and contributing to the planning of new campaigns

  • A good creative eye and the ability to design and produce marketing collateral in the form of invitations, flyers, adverts, brochures etc.

Knowledge and database management

  • Ongoing capture, cleansing, maintenance, and enhancement of data to support the clients CRM system. Supporting the preparation of reports, coordinating data lists for targeting purposes.

Promotional goods, design, and print

  • Fully adheres to brand guidelines

  • Supports the preparation of presentations and other templates, blogs, articles, and brochures

  • Proofread documents

  • Collate, update and support production of clients wide literature for events

  • Source promotional goods

  • Supporting invoice processing and adhering to clients purchase order and marketing expenses processes

  • Keep diary of banners and display collateral requirements and locations.

Marketing campaign measurement

  • Collates events feedback, uploading attendee information onto CRM systems and providing feedback reports post event

  • Supports provision of accurate analytical reporting on marketing campaign including open rates from email campaigns, attendee rates and post event follow-up reports.


  • Fully supports the team in the efficient delivery of business development and marketing campaign activity

  • Builds strong working relationships with all teams

  • Undertakes other duties to meet the demands of the business

  • Actively contribute to the team with ideas for marketing activity.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role the post-holder may also be required to undertake evening or weekend work for which they will accrue time off in lieu to be taken back at an agreed time with the manager.


  • Marketing and events background ideally gained within a professional services or corporate environment

  • Full driving licence

  • A strong ability to use desktop publishing skills, ideally InDesign or similar essential

  • IT Literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills)

  • Soundproof reading and copywriting skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel

  • Knowledge of CRM or data management systems


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and provide pro-active support to colleagues

  • Creative flair

  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines

  • Flexible and adaptable around working hours

  • Good project management skills

  • A confident team player.
