Marketing & BD Manager

OA Executive is delighted to have partnered with a growing construction business in their search for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join their growing team of 100 colleagues. Based in their central London offices you will be tasked with taking full ownership over the marketing activities of this business.

This role will see you report directly into the Managing Director of the business, creating a full marketing strategy, generating new ideas and taking a hands on approach when it comes to the delivery of all marketing activities. Your core responsibilities will be as follows:

 Responsible for all Marketing and Business Development activity for the business
 Implementing the current Marketing plan and working to enhance it and develop it further
 Research new markets and implement strategies to break into thee markets
 Creation and implementation of marketing campaigns
 Develop and maintain monthly reporting to the board on the impact and results of all marketing activity
 Created and update all collateral
 Work and build relationships with external supplies such as agencies, printers etc.
 Manage copy for a wide range of business functions and for a mixture of target audiences
 Develop, review and implement a Communication Plan
 Compile a quarterly internal newsletter
 Website management and ongoing development, maintain a schedule for the publishing of regular content
 Manage all social media activity
 Proactively identify external conferences and events for the business to attend

The ideal candidate for this position will be a pro-active and self-motivated individual who possesses a progressive Marketing background ideally from within the construction or engineering sectors. You will be well versed in both digital and traditional channels of marketing and will enjoy the prospect of working autonomously and reporting into the senior stakeholders of this business.

You will ideally possess a relevant professional marketing qualification and will be an excellent communicator with effective time management skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and the ability to influence at a senior level. Finally you will have strong copy writing skills, will be adept at working with digital communication platforms, have a good grounding in InDesign and MS Office and an innovative and creative approach.
