Marketing Assistant

To be the successful candidate you will need to have the following:

You are a creative and confident person with excellent communication and strong IT skills. You are able to work with some autonomy but also as part of a small team. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as an enthusiastic and outgoing approach.

You will work within the business predominately in an administrative role within the marketing department.


  • Attending marketing meetings, documenting and following up with actions

  • Carry out customer monitoring on posts shared, interaction, etc.

  • Carry out prospect monitoring and share relevant information with the Sales team

  • Carry out supplier monitoring on key messages, products and promotions

  • Carry out competitor monitoring on advertising, branding, key messages, pricing and product promotion activities

  • Collate datasheets, wiring diagrams and videos for products

  • Reception/sales PowerPoint (where appropriate)

  • Sending welcome emails to new customers

  • Sending catalogues as requested by the Sales team

  • Manage the products on the company website, uploading and updating descriptions and key features

  • Identify and communicate marketing opportunities back to the business

  • Understand the range of products and their features and benefits as appropriate

  • Undertake regular communication to the Marketing Executive on current promotions, branding messages and general marketing activities
