Role: Marketing Assistant Temporary

Location: Bingley

Salary: £9.50- £10.50 per hour depending on experience

Hours: Full Time (35 Hours)

Start date: ASAP - Immediate Start

Based in Bingley, in a modern business park, our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated addition to their team for 3 months. You will need to able to jump into the role and support their busy team with meeting deadlines, liaising with global colleagues and ensuring each aspect of the product leaves with the highest level of accuracy. With over 50 years of experience within their field, this company is now looking for support as they continue to grow throughout 2020.

  • Process all content and ensure that all information is accurate and correct

  • Coordinate the production of content via inhouse systems

  • Prepare orders with clear and concise instructions

  • Liaise with clients and customers to quickly resolve any queries and escalate where necessary

  • Check files pre-print and pre-publication

  • Check and process invoices

  • Provide accurate and regular reports and progress updates for the team, as required

  • Main point of contact to stakeholders for an allocated portfolio

  • Establish effective internal and external working relationships and maintain a "Customer First' in approach to work

  • Share information with production stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain schedules escalating to the team and vendors for support, as required;

  • Support for the team, as required and participate in team and department meetings


  • Interest in marketing, publishing and creative industry

  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects whilst meeting deadlines under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to build strong relationships internally and externally

  • Strong customer service and organisation skills

  • Team player with ability to work on own initiative

  • Willingness to travel frequently

  • Strong IT knowledge
