Office Angels Bromley are looking for an experienced, reliable, flexible, highly organised and motivated individual to assist the Head of Events in the day to day running of the Events Department within a secondary school.


The Role


You will be an ambassador of the Events Department for internal and external clients for all manner of events from weddings to residential lets and corporate sports events.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



  • First point of contact, managing all event enquiries providing relevant information up to initial viewing

  • Organise all administrative duties to facilitate the smooth running of the office

  • Booking events and overseeing the Event Management system (Priava)

  • Managing appointment diaries for the Head of Events and Deputy

  • Providing support and administration for the Events Operations Team including management of suppliers' invoices, banking and staff payroll sheets

  • Managing recruitment procedure for casuals

  • Managing social media presence and ongoing website updates

  • Routine clerical duties and stock checks to include bar, stationery and brochures

  • Meet, greet and occasionally conduct tours of the College for prospective clients

  • Any other reasonable duties required by the Head of Events


Key Skills:



  • Proven experience of working in secretarial and/or administrative roles

  • Good Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Competent use of MS Office software to include email, spreadsheets and database packages

  • Conversant with web technologies and familiarity with social media marketing

  • Familiarity with Adobe creative cloud products

  • Current, valid Enhanced DBS with children is essential
