We are excited to recruit for a Communications Manager with previous PR and management aexperience to join our client's team based in central Wimbledon.

You will be working closely with the Director of Marketing and Innovation and will be responsible for the development and management of the company's press office, CSR as well as internal communications and engagement strategy. Your role will include line-management, responsibility for the team and you will oversee the execution of the PR and content strategy, including the publication and publicity of the market research programme, and maximising all content across the company's digital and social media channels.

Key responsibilties will include:
* Management of the team to ensure all journalist enquiries, including requests for quotes, photography, interviews and information are responded to promptly.
* Manage third-party advisors on creation of regular research reports including liaison with key business stakeholders to provide guidance on key commentary themes.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business at all levels.
* Responsibility for management and delivery of major events, including the annual Group conference which includes overseeing event agency relationships, content development, seating plans and themes.
* Proactively conceive story ideas for internal and external publication.
* Oversee and manage the internal research programme as part of the Group 'People' strategy.
* Approval of market commentary and outgoing press collateral.
* Management of the social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn).
* Manage the ongoing collation and distribution of internal communications in line with the internal communications strategy including email communications and intranet.
* Day-to-day running of the internal digital channels including the Newsroom and social media channels.
* Management of CSR programme for the Group with a core focus on managing and executing the relationship with our Group charity, overseeing fundraising, and promoting the relationship.

Attributes, skills and experience required:
* Previous management experience in PR, in-house communications or journalism
* Efficient organisational skills
* A good understanding of PR, content marketing and use of social media channels within communications campaigns
* Experience with internal communications strategy and development and a passion for internal engagement and 'people' strategy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail, including impeccable proof reading
* Proactive, confident and creative approach
* Enthusiastic and helpful manner
* Degree education
* Experience in people management

Desirable attributes include:
* Examples of communications strategy implementation
* Media contacts in relevant industries
* Experience using MailChimp and various survey tools
* Experience of online publishing and use of Sharepoint
