Job Title: Communications and Data Manager - Events
Location: Putney
Salary: Up to £30,000 pa

The main focus of the role is to lead data management processes and support the events team with day to day communications for a range of live events and communications projects. The majority of tasks would be around: managing a busy inbox for a European Retailer network, overseeing other project inboxes, answering and making delegate phone calls, inputting and checking data; despatching tailored communications (including translations); the time remaining would be spent on supporting the Events team with day to day administration and a range of ad hoc support tasks.


Your key responsibilities will include:
* Responsibility for account/event hotlines and corresponding email inboxes and to manage and prioritise responses on a daily basis


* Creation and management of communication plans to support a range of events
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload and regularly report back to different managers on status, completion and queries across multiple events
* Management, organisation and tidying of files and documents
* Development into managing supporting resource for data and guest management on event projects
* Collate and input guest and client responses into different types of online databases
* Setting up complex reports and sending clear, understandable and user-friendly updates to clients
* Collating data in Excel spreadsheets
* Thorough checking processes
* Fanatical attention to detail
* Act as the first point of contact for queries from delegates and clients
* Assist with post event attendance analysis and project feedback
* Creating, proofing and editing of mailing elements and communications

* Ad-hoc event support for the Account and Event Managers as requested

Key skills, experience and attributes required:
* Attention to detail is critical to the role
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Excellent phone manner and communications skills
* Previous knowledge and use of DotMailer and other mailing systems
* Excellent (intermediate level as a minimum) Excel skills and a desire to always learn more
* A strong interest in data and a desire to solve any inconsistencies and progress data skills
* Diligent, reliable and conscientious
* Be able to balance and prioritise several requests and demands; work in a fast-paced environment
* Confidence and ability to: ask questions and seek help as required, feedback on progress of tasks, report any delays and completion of tasks
* Ability to use and act on own initiative
* Supportive of managers when against deadline and willing to be flexible to work longer office hours when required plus possible onsite event work
* Thorough approach to all tasks
* A confident and outgoing personality who enjoys and is comfortable with meeting new people
* Previous experience in a communications role
* Language skills would be a benefit but not essential
* Solid PPT skills and a desire to learn more
* Experience in using other Microsoft office applications and software packages
* Onsite event experience a benefit but not essential
* Previous experience with a luxury brand
