London - office based

8:30am - 5pm


Prestigious, professional and successful private boarding college based near Waterloo is looking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Manager to join their team.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will work closely with the Group Head of Marketing and the Principal to develop the school's marketing and communications strategy and annual marketing plan. The postholder will oversee all marketing activities for the school and generate content to stimulate demand and interest in the school.

Duties included in the role:

  • Develop and implement a coherent marketing strategy for the whole school,

  • Undertake market research and competitor analysis

  • Forecast, monitor and track key metrics such as return on investment

  • Development and implementation of the school's communications and PR strategy

  • Write and producing dynamic school presentations and press releases

  • Work with the Group Head of Design to design and produce school marketing collateral,

  • Strategic management of the school's website, with responsibility for its continual evolution

  • Generate original and engaging digital content - including audio, video, and photography

  • Curate and distribute regular blogs, podcasts, and electronic newsletters

  • Devise and implement digital marketing campaigns

About you:

  • Previous Marketing & Communications experience

  • A record of good academic achievement and educated to degree level or equivalent in a marketing or business discipline

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong typography, layout, and graphic design skills

  • Ability to multitask and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, including reporting, audience, and goal tracking
