We are working on a fantastic opportunity for a sales and events coordinator to join one of my personal favourite clients! This firm has been established and growing rapidly for the past 6 years; every person we have placed there loves the atmosphere and has personally pushed themselves to progress and learn and become part of the companies ongoing success.


This role reporting to their head of marketing is suited to someone with similar experience, who is an ideas person. if you are always full of ideas and can't wait to implement them and get stuck in! If you are great at leading friendly and creative sales people, coordinating memorable and fantastic events (on budget!) this role will suit you.

HOURS: 8:30-5:30, Monday to Friday

SALARY: £30,000-£40,000 Depending on experience

Duties:



  • Coordinate the sales team by managing schedules and communicating relevant information

  • Ensure the adequacy, accuracy and storage of information on contacts, companies, leads,


tenders, projects and team and present reports



  • Gather information on opportunities and market trends

  • Coordinate the sales meetings

  • Organise B2B meetings

  • Produce quarterly sales reporting

  • Monitor the team's progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements


Events:



  • Produce and manage the events plan and budget

  • Plan and organise all internal and external events

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create event invitations

  • Manage and oversee events on the day

  • Liaise with event providers and venues

  • Coordinate with the accounts department for payments

  • Coordinate reporting on events

  • Research, benchmark and suggest events

  • Monitor the events' success, identify shortcomings and propose improvements


Other:



  • Assist the team in marketing duties whenever required

  • Assist the support team whenever required (reception, administrative tasks).


We would like:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sharepoint Objectives

  • Facilitate, monitor and improve the sales team's activities to maximize their performance

  • Increase knowledge of opportunities in the London fit out and refurbishment market

  • Ensure all events are planned and organised in a timely manner to be successful.
