Job Title: Guest Manager Admin
Location: Putney
Salary: £23k

Our client is looking for a strong Administrator to join their Events team based in Putney. Your main focus will be to assist with guest management and support the Event Managers with day to day communications for a range of various events.
Your key task will involve answering and making delegate phone calls, managing delegate inboxes and inputting and checking data. You will also be supporting the Event Managers with day to day duties such as venue search, equipment collation/management, general administration, document printing/collation etc.


Your key responsibilities will include:

* Collate and input guest responses into different types of online databases and excel spreadsheets
* Fanatical attention to detail and thorough checking processes
* Taking on guest management projects from start to finish
* Responsibility for event hotlines and corresponding email inboxes and to manage and prioritise responses daily; act as the first point of contact for queries from delegates and our clients
* Proofing and editing of mailing elements and communications
* Management, organisation and tidying of equipment and kit to support events and Event Managers
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload and regularly report back to different Event Managers on status, completion and queries across multiple events
* Assist with post event attendance analysis
* Ad-hoc help for the Guest and Event Managers as requested

Skills and experience required:

* A strong interest in data and a desire to solve any inconsistencies and progress data skills
* Excellent phone manner and communications skills
* Ability to use and act on own initiative
* Supportive of Event Managers when against deadline and willing to be flexible to work longer office hours when required plus possible onsite event work
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Diligent, reliable and conscientious
* Thorough approach to venue research, tracking and filing (training and assistance will be given)
* A confident and outgoing personality who enjoys and is comfortable with meeting new people
* Solid PPT skills and intermediate (minimum) Excel skills
* Experience in using other Microsoft office applications and software such as Dotdigital
* Be able to balance and prioritise several requests and demands; work in a fast-paced environment
* Confidence and ability to: ask questions and seek help as required, feedback on progress of tasks, report any delays and completion of tasks
* Previous guest management experience
* Onsite event experience a benefit but not essential
