We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Accountant to join the team and play a crucial role in their financial operations.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Manage day-to-day financial operations working closely with the estate manager.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns
- Intercompany Reconciliation: Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliation on a number of different bank accounts.
- Management Accounts: Prepare and present management accounts for multiple entities within their portfolio, offering insights into financial performance and trends.
- Budget Setting: Collaborate with teams to set and monitor budgets for their properties.
Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within the property or real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and experience with VAT return submissions.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
