Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a knack for administrative tasks? Our client, a reputable organisation in need of an Administrator with purchasing duties, is looking for someone just like you to join their team! With a focus on accounts and purchasing, this exciting full-time role offers the opportunity to showcase your organisational skills and gain experience in a diverse range of administrative responsibilities.


What our client is looking for:



  • Good organisational skills and some administrative experience.

  • Prior experience in purchasing and familiarity with purchase orders.

  • Ideally coming from a background in mechanical engineering, construction, electrics, plumbing, or similar trades.

  • A natural knack for organisation and attention to detail.

  • Basic knowledge of Sage software (training can be provided).

  • Ability to handle supplier queries and reconcile supplier/client accounts.

  • Willingness to assist with credit control and work with stock inventory.


Job Details:



  • Office-based role, with no remote work.


- Monday to Friday, with flexible hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm / 8 am - 4 pm / 9 am - 5 pm) and a paid 30-minute lunch break.



  • Starting salary of up to £27,000pa

  • Additional benefits include a pension plan and free parking.


Responsibilities include:



  • Placing purchase orders and raising quotes.

  • Managing supplier queries and maintaining excellent communication.

  • Reconciling supplier and client accounts.

  • Assisting with credit control tasks.

  • Basic work with Sage software.

  • Administrative duties, including maintaining stock levels and conducting stock takes.
