Logistics Coordinator
Trafford Park
£26,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
Office based
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours between 8am and 6pm
Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator on behalf of our client based in the Trafford Park area.
Duties will include:
- Coordinate transportation activities with internal and external customers
- Book and oversee imports on behalf of customers
- Coordinate the processing of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment while managing any potential disruptions or delays.
- Preparing delivery and collection notes
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and delivery confirmations.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise within the supply chain, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, and work towards finding viable solutions
- Assist in purchasing, sales orders and intercompany stock transfers
- Support remote sales team with orders and stock queries
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Competent at building internal and external relationships
- Good knowledge of Microsoft systems - primarily Excel
- Assertive personality who drives continuous improvement
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
