Salary: £24500


Hours: Monday - Friday rotating shift of 08:00 - 16:00 and 10:00 - 18:00 however there need to be flexibility


Location: Coventry

Your Role and Responsibilities:


As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the shipment of manufactured products on a global scale, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials to end-users. Here's what you'll be responsible for:



  • Prioritising and coordinating the packing and loading of shipments to ensure readiness for transport arrival.

  • Generating electronic manifests and shipper labels to facilitate tracking and visibility of consignments.

  • Using QAD to ship orders and create invoices, ensuring smooth commercial transactions.

  • Assessing and obtaining quotations from external transport companies and making cost-effective decisions.

  • Collaborating with internal sales, scheduling teams, and external transport companies to plan and address potential delays.

  • Communicating, coordinating, and informing third-party logistics teams of freight forwarders' intentions to expedite loading and unloading.

  • Analysing and coordinating information flow with returns, quality control teams, and sales to guarantee timely customer credits.

  • Maximising vehicle usage and monitoring payloads to ensure economical delivery operations.

  • Staying updated on customs, laws, and regulations that may impact global shipments.

  • Monitoring RF scanning processes and reporting any issues to ensure seamless shipping.


To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:



  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

  • Proficient in MS packages
