Loading Bay Operative

Responsibilities:



  • Represent our client professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

  • Receive, unload and distribute incoming and outgoing deliveries.

  • Handle client inquiries in person and over the telephone.

  • Maintain a neat and tidy loading bay area.

  • Perform relief driving duties when needed.

  • Utilise a forklift truck for various tasks.

  • Process archive files and track signature movements using the on-site system.


Requirements:



  • While loading bay operations experience would be beneficial, training will be provided.

  • Familiarity with both UK and international mailing arrangements.

  • Strong customer service and complaint handling skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with a diverse range of people.

  • Flexible availability to work shifts in a time-sensitive environment.

  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Possession of a valid driving licence is essential for the use of company vehicles.
