JOB TITLE: Legal Secretary - Conveyancing (Hybrid Working)

SALARY: Up to £24,500

LOCATION: Bradford City Centre - Parking and Transport routes close

The company: A well-established, successful medium-sized law firm in the heart of Bradford City Centre with several other offices across West Yorkshire.

Overview of the role: Legal Secretary to prioritise well to successfully support a Senior Conveyancer who oversees a team of 3.

Brief Overview of Responsibilities:

    • Providing secretarial support to Residential Conveyancers who have a mixed caseload of property files, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with:

    • The land registry website to request title documents and submitting applications for registrations.

    • LMS and lender exchange portals to download documents

    • Submitting applications to HMRC

Key Attributes:

    • You must have a professional, accurate and methodical approach to work and enjoy a busy workload.

    • You will need to demonstrate initiative, be proactive, and, most importantly, you should enjoy working as part of a team.

    • You will take pride in delivering excellent client service, so you will also need to be skilled in managing communications, both over the telephone and in writing

    • You must be a collaborative team player, capable of working well and supporting others

    • You will have experience with administrative tasks such as; faxing, photocopying, daily post duties etc.
