One of our favourite law firms based in the City of London are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their professional team. A flexible, supportive and co-operative approach to work is a key requirement of the role.

JOB ROLE: Legal Secretary
JOB TYPE: Temporary
HOURS: 9.00am - 17.30pm
SALARY: £12- 14ph dependent on experience
LOCATION: City of London

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

* To work as part of a team delivering legal secretarial services to a high standard and often under pressure and time restraints.
* General administrative duties when required including telephone management, making refreshments and collecting lunches


*Audio typing


*Minute taking
* Manage a complex and demanding workload and prioritise tasks and projects to meet work standards.


* General ad hoc administration to support the legal team
* Use and update computerised systems, including the intranet, databases, word processors, and spread-sheets.



  • Typing & Digital dictation

  • General administrative work, electronic filling, diary management

  • Liaison with clients in relation to registration requirements, and others requirements throughout application process

  • Monthly billing, including producing client breakdowns


*Diary Management


*Preparing monthly invoices and reports


*Filing, Achieving, scanning, and typing


*Deal with all incoming and outgoing post


*Support the office manager in ordering stationary and office supplies




SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Strong education

  • Experience with in legal secretarial role is necessary.

  • Experience within employment law would be ideal but not essential

  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM

  • Excellent attention to detail and outstanding communication skills

  • Able to multitask and handle a demanding work load

  • Keen and eager to do a good job

  • Able to perform under pressure

  • Personable, professional and approachable

  • Well presented with an excellent work attitude
