Office Angels Livingston are collaborating exclusively with a friendly and rewarding legal firm for a Permanent Legal Cashier. The role is perfect for someone who is a proven Legal Cashier looking for a new challenge. Based in Dunfermline, Fife Salary up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience. The core hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (35hrs per week) and you will be working initially from home with a view to working towards a hybrid office/home working model.


Role Overview


You will work alongside the Senior Cashier as part of the Legal Cashroom team and will have excellent knowledge of the rules and regulations a legal cash room is governed by as well as tight deadlines. Therefore, you must be able to prioritise your own workload and have a can-do, proactive attitude. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Excel is essential and knowledge of Denova Legal Intelligence System would be an advantage.


The role will initially be working from home with a view to working towards a hybrid model of both office and home working, initially it will be remote based.



Duties include:


� Managing Client Accounts


� Managing transactions of Office bank account including incoming and outgoing transactions


� Posting of invoices by recording onto system


� Managing the document management and accounts internal system


� Bank Reconciliations


� Keeping an eye on credit and debit balances


� Completing various weekly reporting using Excel


� Payroll experience advantageous but not essential



Skills and Experience required:


� Previous Legal Cashroom experience is essential


� Excellent Microsoft Office, Excel and Word skills are essential


� Working knowledge of Denovo Legal Cash Intelligence System advantageous (full training will be given)


� Knowledge or experience of Sage 50 would be desirable but not essential


� Naturally organised and can prioritise own workload


� Works well in a team and on own initiative


� Proactive and takes care and pride in own work
