JOB TITLE: Junior Financial Accountant

COMPANY: Merchant Banking within clean energy

CONTRACT: Permanent

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 dependant on candidate experience

HOURS: 9.00am - 17.30pm

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Pall Mall/Westminster

CULTURE: Start up, friendly, entrepreneurial, driven and ambitious small team

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

• Liaise with the external accountancy company


• Manage invoices and expenses on Xero


• Book Keeping


• Payments and billing


• Board level reporting


• VAT & TAX returns


• Prepare financial statements


• Settling invoices /payments


• Budgeting


• Bank/Transaction reconciliations


• Payroll


• Management Accounts & company filings

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Experience necessary


• Must be a Part/Fully qualified accountant


• Ambitious to become a Finance Director/CFO within the future


• Must have experience with Xero


• Microsoft literate including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint


• Friendly & proactive


• Organised and detail orientated


• Positive and collaborative team member


• Proven ability to effectively manage varying responsibilities and a busy workload


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• A confident, reliable with a strong work ethic


• Problem solver and self-starter
