Office Angels are working with a leading organisation in the heart of Bracknell to recruit a Junior Finance Business Partner to join their successful and established Finance Department reporting to the Finance Business Partner.


You will collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, working closely with Budget Holders, Senior Management Team and the Leadership Team acting as a trusted advisor, sounding board, supporting and challenging the organisation.


Key Responsibilities



  • Produce timely, high quality management information which assists key stakeholders to understand their income and expenditure position.

  • Produce monthly actual commentaries for the Board which provide analysis and deliver insight on the financial performance of the Institute and its subsidiaries.

  • Drive financial performance improvements and enable effective decision making by ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable data is produced.

  • Support the Budget Holders in producing high quality accurate budgets, forecasts and plans that link with the organisations corporate plan and operational plans.

  • Produce budget and forecast commentaries which provide analysis and deliver insight on the financial performance of the organisation and its subsidiaries.

  • Produce financial modelling and scenario planning to provide insightful management information to key stakeholders to support strategic and operation decisions and to help future proof the organisation.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Budget Holders, Heads of Department and Directors, influencing, informing and challenging to support them in understanding their departmental business performance.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with the other members of the wider finance team to share best practice and standards.

  • Provide effective procedures and influence and initiate change to ensure key operational and financial targets/KPI's are delivered.

  • Contribute towards the delivery of statutory reporting and returns to ensure Charity Commission and legal compliance


Candidate Requirements



  • Studying towards Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)



  • Experience of management accounts, planning, forecasting & financial modelling



  • Familiarity with working with multiple stakeholders and the ability to communicate effectively and partner with Senior Management

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management capability with ability to influence and challenge non-Finance Managers

  • Ability to deliver information clearly and accurately with strong attention to detail

  • Forward thinking, proactive, enquiring mind with an analytical approach

  • Ability to work to tight timescales, organised and flexible, with a focus on excellence



  • Strong excel capability including pivot tables, v lookups and IF statements as a minimum



  • Prior Business Partnering experience advantageous

  • Experience of working in a Not for Profit advantageous
