We are recruiting for a Junior Accountant to work in Mansfield although this could eventually be a hybrid role once you pass your probation when in the office there is parking to be part of a small team, this client offers excellent benefits including flexi hours to work the hours that best suits you to allow a work life balance Monday - Friday and study support to invest in you and your future

As Junior Accountant some of the duties are listed below

Complete the month end processing for review with the plant controller.

Review month end results on day one prior to submission.

Complete the monthly group submission file.

Some of the typical month end activities are accruals, prepayments, concur expenses, foreign currency revaluations and Monthly payroll journal.

Preparation and submission of Blackline reconciliations. These are typically submitted a day after month end results are finalised. Normally on day two or three.

Monitor and review manufacturing variances and to lead the regular review meetings.

Develop and implement reporting requirements. (Monthly / Weekly)

Assist with the office of national statistics returns

Quarterly VAT submission

Any ad hoc duties as and when directed by the plant controller.
