IT Project Coordinator

JOB TITLE: IT Project Coordinator

LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset

SALARY: £24K to £28K PA DOE

HOURS: 8:45am - 5:15pm (Monday - Friday)

THE ROLE: You will be responsible for improving customer relationships by monitoring company software and web sales activity, and project delivery effectiveness. Where improvements are identified in either delivery or responsiveness in order to meet customer satisfaction objectives, you will facilitate and initiate the necessary corrective actions to return programmes to schedule.


  • Monitor sales enquiries and account manager sales activity and ensure timely and professional response.

  • Ensure that all income generating opportunities are appropriately prioritised and progressed by account managers effectively and efficiently.

  • Deliver improved customer experience driven through the use of the customer web portal [Manage assets, service contracts, statements, improve call maintenance functionality].

  • Schedule software services resources.

  • Monitor project delivery/progress and provide management information where slippage is identified.

  • Solicit customer feedback and monitor, record, analyse and report customer satisfaction data across all divisions.

  • Manage customer complaints process and provide management reports as requested.

  • Report service levels to the management team & the board.

  • Liaise with clients on current and planned projects.

  • Help identify client requirements for planned projects in liaison with web or software services team members.

  • Roll out and communicate web portal enhancements to customers, improving the portal functionality and ensuring the Management Board receive the management data and information required to monitor Business Plan delivery.

  • Prepare project plans and client-facing specifications from technical specifications produced by web or software services team.

  • Manage client expectations on timescales and milestones.

  • Liaise internally to ensure staff adhere to project milestones.

  • Ensure clients meet their required milestones and deliver against their responsibilities.

  • Realign timescale expectations where programme and project slippage has occurred.


You will need to be a proactive problem solver with prior experience in a customer focused project based role. From this you will have gained the skills to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles and be able to prioritise multiple conflicting tasks. You will be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. You will have experience in listening and conveying complex technical information in a way that matches the technical level of your audience. You will be able to use a range of Microsoft Office software and experience in a technical environment.
