Due to operational growth this is a fantastic opportunity to join increasing team and to work alongside other Lead Planners. Managing Forecast and interpreting work capability volumes. Understanding work streams for a particular geographical area.



There are around 600 technicians in the field growing monthly. So your accurate planning is crucial to enable the client to maximise productivity. Due to increased roll out your job is crucial to making sure resource is available.



The role holder will be required to challenge assumptions and articulate what the consequences of changes are. The role will also encompass project work and analysis to assist delivery a variety of projects in the operation



See below a brief outline of some of the duties :



Work capacity planners, senior planning analyst and relevant stakeholders to develop plans, strategies and tactics to deliver the latest MTP/forecasts for defined geographic regions..


Understand the geography (CAR / Workzone) and nuances of the areas to ensure that customer and technician density is maintained and travel is minimised.


Have an understanding of technician skill set and available hours to ensure that skills to complete all relevant customer jobs are available.


Have an understanding of all jobs in the relevant areas and the volumes expected so that strategies / tactics can be developed to resource.


Using the above to create a combined vision of what capacity should be entered into the capacity manager for consumption by the clients


Have a strategy for when capacity is released to stakeholders in line with their expectations and to maintain lead times where needed.


Participate in weekly management conversations and meetings


Understand the training requirements of teams to make sure that time is available for relevant training to take place.


Constantly question and test MI to ensure it is fit for purpose.


Take part in regional deep dives to ensure everyone is working to the same strategy.


Develop tactics to close gaps where MO is not on plan or ahead of plan.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 18:00
