Due to company expansion this technical based document management consultancy is seeking multiple Technical Support Consultants to join their team in Wellington, Somerset.


This is a full time role working 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with a salary of £22,000 - £22,500 PA DOE.


This is a busy 2nd line support position working with bespoke software. The role will involve working in the team responsible for all aspects of technical and customer support working closely with company customers to resolve calls in an efficient and timely manner. This is a fast paced role so will require a multi tasker able to work to tight deadlines.

The successful applicant will need to have an interest or experience in technology and coding, such as HTML, C++, C# or Web Design.

After a comprehensive training program where you'll get to grips with their cutting-edge applications, you will become a key part of the 2nd line support team involved in all aspects of technical and customer support. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving reported issues through enhancing customer's configuration using their bespoke in-house software.


A day in the life of your new role:



  • Understanding and implementing customer requirements

  • Identifying and implementing any improvements to a customer's configuration

  • Investigating and remedying any issues occurring within the configuration

  • Investigation and reporting faults with software applications

  • Investigating and rectifying issues with Microsoft OS and core Microsoft applications

  • Producing and maintaining a clear and succinct log of activities

  • Analysing and understanding customer data and processing rules

  • Writing and testing bespoke, criteria rule sets

  • Following pre-defined procedures and documentation to aid timely task resolution


We would love to speak to candidates who have:



  • A logical mind-set with strong ability to problem solve

  • Experience with MS Office applications

  • A methodical worker and ability to work to tight deadlines

  • A passion to work in a technical role with the ability to quickly assimilate and retain new information

  • Prior coding experience would be highly beneficial
