Internal Resourcer / Recruitment Assistant

My client, a prestigious business based on the outskirts of Newcastle are looking for an energetic, hardworking and pro-active Recruitment Assistant/ Internal Resourcer to assist them with their large scale volume recruitment drive.

This role will run for a minimum of 12 weeks and dependent upon business levels, may be extended.

This is an office based role with the working hours of Mon - Fri 9.00am-5.00pm.

The pay rate for this role is between £10.25ph and £12.82ph dependant upon experience.

The role will involve

  • Speaking to candidates about outstanding positions (active and passive)

  • Managing candidates expectations/ advising them of the recruitment process (time-frames)

  • Booking and conducting interviews

  • Matching CV's to job descriptions across all levels of roles within Legal/Contact Centre/IT/Admin/Customer Services

  • Following up on adverts and creating shortlists of suitable candidates

  • Working at a fast pace to contact large amounts of candidates across the working day

  • Following up on interview outcomes (offer/unsuccessful)


  • Previous experience of working within an Internal Resourcing or Recruitment role

  • Previous experience of working in a fast paced environment

  • Able to multi-task and work to targets

  • Professional telephone manner

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong admin skills


  • Previous use of a CV database (Broadbean/CV Library/internal CV database)
