Internal Recruitment Co-Ordinator


Permanent, hybrid working


£25,000 - £30,000 plus annual, bonus, wellbeing, social events, generous pension, 25 days plus bank holidays and lots more!!


Esher HO, flexible on location


Required: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm (flexible)

Overview:


An excellent opportunity to join a fun and friendly company who are looking for an Internal Recruiter to join their People Group. Working with and supporting the Recruitment Manager, this role requires a methodical and driven approach to finding candidates across the business.


In proactively supporting the recruitment activities there is also responsibility to support the wider People Group in reporting on key business recruitment metrics, ensuring process and systems are maintained and assuring best practice.


With numerous office locations across the UK, this company is looking for someone who ideally has recruitment experience otherwise, a strong administrator looking for a challenging yet rewarding role. You will have a good work ethic, a real people person and be self-driven to succeed and get tasks done.


Daily duties will include:



  • Working with the Recruitment Manager to fill roles across the business

  • Work with the administration team to ensure a smooth pre-employment process internally and externally

  • Liaison with hiring teams and Directors across the business.

  • Liaison with marketing team to create and share compelling messaging across media platforms

  • Ensuring that the recruitment process reflects the aspirations of the business with respect to equality, diversity and inclusion.

  • Assisting with 'hands on' searching to identify candidates

  • Carrying out initial candidates sift on paper and via telephone

  • Coordinating interviews with line managers and following up/chasing progress

  • Providing metrics, data and reports


To be successful in this role you'll have:



  • Ideally recruitment experience but not essential

  • Good spoken and written English is essential

  • Ability to learn quickly and be able to prioritise multiple tasks and changing priorities

  • Be a convincing communicator, persuasive and able to influence

  • Be comfortable in networking events, conferences, awards functions and similar

  • Be familiar with working to strict targets and deadlines.

  • An appreciation of the Civil Engineering industry would be an advantage
