This fantastic company requires an Interim Financial Controller to take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function, including managing the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Credit Control functions and completion of Management Accounts. It is a truly varied role, working in a fast-paced, fun and diverse environment with good access to the senior team.


JOB TITLE: Interim Financial Controller - Part Time

LOCATION: City of London


SALARY: £60,000 - £65,000 (pro rata)

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Managing the finance team and ensuring deadlines are met across the department

  • Managing monthly payroll including pension

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function

  • Completion of management accounts with commentary

  • Approving supplier BACS runs

  • Managing the Accounts Receivable function

  • Managing credit control

  • Running quarterly finance on-boarding presentations for all new starters across the group

  • Providing excellent communications to a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Assisting team members with client and supplier liaison

  • Assisting the Group MD / EA to the Group MD with management of the Office Manager


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • ACA/ACCA qualified ideally

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Solid management experience

  • Solid general finance experience

  • Advanced analytical and management accounts abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships at all levels

  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft applications (particularly Excel)

  • Strong time management and planning skills

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure

  • An honest and discreet attitude
