Job Title: Insurance Sales Advisor


Location: Ashford


Salary: £24k - £26k


Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Your next company are going through a period of expansion and as a result they would like Office Angels to recruit an Insurance Sales Advisor to be based at their Ashford office. They would like to recruit positive, enthusiastic and professional people to join their team of 10. You'll need to be a helpful and outgoing person who can get along with and support others.


As an Insurance Sales Advisor you'll be responsible for receiving incoming calls to provide quotations and secure sales of motor, and personal insurance policies, as well as identifying and developing sales opportunities and growing the business pipelines.


As an Insurance Sales Advisor your responsibilities will include:



  • Receiving inbound calls to provide quotations

  • Reviewing and advising customers on insurance requirements

  • Identifying and initiating cross-selling opportunities/activities including general insurance and financial services.

  • Building new business pipeline through cross selling to existing clients and also prospecting new clients.

  • Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products

  • Acquiring the relevant Product Licences

  • Planning and implementing sales and marketing initiatives

  • Developing and sustaining effective working relationships with customers, members of the business and staff

  • Complying with the Company Compliance Manual, Guide and procedures


You'll be the perfect match for this client if you:



  • Previous Sales experience within an office/retail etc

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Ability to manage own workload

  • Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office Outlook, Work & Excel

  • Great communication skills and a good telephone manner

  • Willingness to learn new skills

  • Be able to problem solve and use own initiative whilst demonstrating attributes of honesty, integrity, due care, skill and diligence
