The company we're recruiting for are going through a period of expansion and as a result would like Office Angels to recruit an Insurance Customer Retention Specialist to work in their offices based in Ashford, Tenterden or Whitfield, Kent.

The Office Manager would like to recruit someone who is positive and enthusiastic to work as part of a team of 20. You'll receive excellent training from a really supportive team and the opportunity to complete Insurance qualifications and grow your career at this company.

Job Title: Insurance Customer Service Specialist

Location: Ashford, Kent. Your own transport is required for very occasional holiday/sickness cover in Whitfield and Tenterden.

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000pa

Hybrid: 12 days working from home per year, subject to Manager agreement, ensuring the offices can remain open for customers.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

As an Insurance Customer Service Specialist your responsibilities would be to:

  • Handle all cancellation requests, seeking to retain the customer and where this is not possible, obtain their consent to quote in the future.

  • Review covers and proactively contact customers to confirm renewals, address objections and secure renewal.

  • Obtain and maintain full suite of Company Insurance product licences.

  • Consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions with potential and existing customers, delivering on promises, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.

  • Always demonstrate high values of trust and integrity, acting as a positive role model in line with the values and ethos of the Business.

You'll be the perfect match for this position if you have:

  • Customer service experience within the Insurance sector

  • Administrative experience within an Insurance company

  • A desire to grow your career within Insurance

  • Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office

  • The ability to work as a team, be super helpful and organised as well as build effective relationships through positive behaviours, honesty and integrity.
