We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a market leader within their field supplying to industries including oil and gas and renewable energy, for an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.



Role: Senior HSE Advisor


Type: Permanent


Working Hours: 37.5 per week / 8:30am - 5pm


Salary: Competitive


Location: South of Aberdeen



Duties include:



  • Implement an effective HSE Management System across the organisation

  • Engage, collaborate with and support key managers, throughout the organisation

  • Play a key leadership role and function in driving the quality assurance principles throughout the organisation

  • Establish and cement strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation including our key external customers and other regulatory stakeholders

  • Implement and maintain an effective audit and assurance process to ensure that HSE principles sit at the heart of the organisation

  • Ensure effective management of any non-conformance including development and implementation of root cause analysis and problem solving across the organisation

  • Provide guidance and support to the organisation in relation to specific customer requirements. (HSE plans, statistics, customer audits, etc)



Experience required:



  • Experience and strong track record of implementing HSE policies, systems and procedures in accordance with ISO 14001(2015) & ISO 45001 (2018) standards and OHSAS18001 (2007)

  • Demonstrable track record of achievement in meeting HSE objectives and delivery of HSE performance targets

  • Experienced in providing HSE guidance and advice to business managers in a collaborative and engaging way

  • Comfortable communicating with not only technicians/site employees but also presenting to CEO and director levels - possessing the required credibility and confidence

  • Experience working within a technical environment is essential

  • NEBOSH general certificate is essential and NEBOSH Diploma is desirable but not essential
