JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Online Marketing Assistant
Job Role:
We're looking for an organised, analytical individual with creative flair and an ability to delight customers to join our eCommerce Team
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing department for a multi-channel company around Exeter, working with both a UK and International Scope. The company owns, imports and distributes branded products to the retail sector, including Toys; Beach Goods; Gifts and even Confectionery. This is very much a developing role, with plenty of opportunities for progression for the right person.
You will be entrusted with a varying range of tasks to complete this role. Day to day, tasks will include providing Customer Service Support and operational support for our new direct-to-customer sales channels; ensuring that product listings are created and available on the appropriate sales channels in a timely manner and to meet agreed standards and liaising with design; photography and creative teams to improve product assets.
There will also be the opportunity to be involved with more aspects of eCommerce, including promotional planning; stock forecasting; product development and more.
This is the ideal role for someone who is looking to start a career in eCommerce and learn a well-rounded skill set.

Key Tasks and responsibilities:
* Providing exceptional Customer Service for customers with queries or complaints.
* Ensuring the smooth operation of eCommerce Sales Channels; including managing key performance metrics
* Managing the process of listing and optimising product listings; including creating new content where required.
* Maintaining and managing stock levels, including planning stock levels in Amazon's FBA Program
* Assisting with logistics and operational requirements to ensure smooth running of the order, dispatch and returns processes.
* Monitoring, encouraging and reacting to customer feedback on both product and service.
* Creating and distributing reports required by the eCommerce team as well as the wider business.
* Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures.
* Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge appropriate to the role.
* Any other tasks deemed necessary by the company for the successful completion of the role.


KPIs:
* Effective, smooth operation of direct to customer channels.
* Timely and high-quality listing of product on direct to customer channels.
* Correct levels of stock available to order, as well as available in Amazon's FBA program.
* Increased volume, quantity and level of feedback being left on product and review service platforms.

Person Specification:
* Highly computer literate, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, amongst other programs (Adobe Photoshop Experience would be advantageous).
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Good organisation and planning, with the ability to manage multiple high-pressure tasks at once.
* An eye for the creative - good photos, videos and design work.
* Ability to work within a team but also to be self-starting and work on own initiative.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
