Our client is a major international company providing outstanding market intelligence services for the Pharmaceutical sector. They are regarded as one of the best for timely and accurate analysis of reported drug sales, consensus sales forecasts and Research and Development


They are looking for an experienced HR Associate to join their team to assist the HR Manager and HR department. This position serves as the first line of support for all employees and as a support to management on human resource-related issues.




Recruitment & Selection




  • Assist HR Manager with managing the recruitment process for all UK and APAC vacancies

  • Reviewing of Business Cases prior to submission, against budget and to ensure there is consistency

  • Ensure GDPR and legal compliance within HR department

  • Incorporate and embed company values within all people processes

  • Manage relationships with recruiters and hiring managers

  • Confirmation of offer of terms



Employee Relations




  • Hold monthly HR drop in sessions

  • Ensure that the HRM/CHRO is made aware of any employee relations issues that arise as appropriate

  • Support, develop and coach managers to process employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievances and mediation, using policies, procedures and best practice, ideally resolving issues informally where possible.

  • Implement and conduct stay interviews

  • Signpost employees to correct support networks



Performance Management




  • Responsible for monitoring and communicating annual performance review process

  • Managing process for follow up quarterly/6 monthly reviews based on appraisal score

  • Support and guide Manager's through performance improvement plan / disciplinary as a next step if necessary



Learning & Development




  • Work with HRM to obtain training provider quotes that are in line with the training budget and submit for review

  • Liaise with HR Administrator to book the successful training provider, rooms, travel, attendees etc.

  • Work with HR Administrator to monitor training completion rates



Reward & Remuneration




  • Support the HR team with annual salary and bonus process and communications

  • Act as first point of contact for managers and guide them through promotion proposals

  • Manage relationships with benefits providers



Legal & Compliance




  • Support HR Manager with annual legal review of UK and APAC policies and procedures

  • Implementation and clear communication of any changes

  • Be a GDPR Ambassador



Off-boarding



  • Conduct off-boarding meetings with leaver and manager

  • Confirmation of leavers terms and conditions based on contract, notice period and length of service e

  • Conduct Exit Interviews



Projects / Initiatives & Strategy




  • Support CHRO and HRM with input into our global wellbeing strategy



Administration, Systems & Records




  • To promote the use of HR systems policies and processes, challenging appropriately as necessary

  • Escalate any system issues

  • Intranet design and ensure all information is up to date

  • Assist with the HR Audit



Employer Branding



  • Employer Brand Maintenance through social media accounts



Other




  • Assist HR Team - any other ad-hoc duties as required




  • Front of House- occasional coverage ensuring reception is tended to at all times and all calls are answered and client and staff areas are kept to a high standard at all times




  • PA/EA Support- To provide PA duties to the C-suite
