HSQE Administrator

Office Angels are currently looking for a Health & Safety Administrator to join our client; an established company who are based on Wessington Way in Sunderland, on a permanent contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to develop with a successful and thriving business!

The company is going through an exciting time of growth and expansion. They are currently growing their HSQE team, and are seeking an individual who has a keen interest in, or is looking to make the move into, an HSQE Administration role.

Previous experience or qualifications in Administration, and/or health & safety, particularly (IOSH/NEBOSH), is beneficial but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.   • Location: Wessington Way, Sunderland.

  • Annual Salary: circa. £20k+, negotiable depending on experience!

  • Bonus scheme following probation!

  • Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.45am - 5.00pm, Mon - Friday.

  • Driver with access to own vehicle is highly beneficial.

Main Purpose of Role

To support the HSQE manager and department with high-quality administrative support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Please note FULL Training will be provided

  • Maintain accurate paper and computer-based records and filing systems.

  • Assist the HSQE Manager and general team with all aspects of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

  • Collate data and produce reports for monthly Business Standards meetings to support HSQE Manager.

  • Assist in the preparation and annual review of all HSQE documents and systems.

  • Maintain ISO accredited integrated Quality Management System.

  • Collation and management of site reports: equipment and vehicle inspections etc.

  • Maintaining and ordering stock and PPE.

  • Assist the HSQE Manager in completing and planning internal and external compliance auditing.

  • Assist with the preparation of HSQE KPI's and reports

  • Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements.

  • Participate in team/business meetings as necessary.

  • Liaise with field team and other internal departments.

  • General administration tasks are required.

Skills/ Experience

  • Qualifications within HSQE, IOSH/NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent - Beneficial, not essential

  • Previous experience of working in a general administration support role.

  • Literate and Numerate with strong proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications.

  • Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
