HR Operations Assistant - TECH - 3 month TEMP!

JOB TITLE: HR Operations Assistant
COMPANY: Technology Start up
HOURS: 9.00am - 18.00pm
DURATION: 3 month temporary, potential further extension
START: ASAP, unfortunately we are only able to consider notice periods of less than 1 week
SALARY: £12 - £15 per hour
LOCATION: Walking distance from Old Street station (Hybrid working offered)

Duties include but are not exclusive to:

  • Owning majority of the end to end journey for everyone who joins the business

  • Assisting with other areas of HR as needed such as processing payroll, expansions, global mobility, contingent worker program etc.

  • Focus on the onboarding of new starters including:

o Handling contract preparation
o Setting up new starters on the system
o Managing logistics of sending out laptops and equipment for remote set up
o Liaising with Line Managers to agree on new starters schedules
o Scheduling onboarding meetings
o Collecting feedback from the new starters

Skills, Experience and Attributes:

  • High attention to detail, these tasks are vital to the success of the team, so make sure they are worked to the best of your ability

  • Professionalism, you will be handling sensitive information so we must ensure that you are handling this with care

  • Candidate and new joiner experience is your top priority!

  • Prioritisation, ability to be flexible and reactive to tasks depending on urgency or priority

  • Previous experience within HR / people focused position is essential
